I purchased the WaterPic flosser as advised by my dental hygienist. It definitely does the job but, even on the lowest setting and following the instructions to a “T,” I get water splashed on my face and clothing. Other than this inconvenience, the unit works well!
This flosser is a bit noisy; I find the shape and size a bit hard to handle especially with my arthritic hands. And the way the oil arches from the center of the holder makes it harder to aim the water to the gum line. Maybe the pik needs to arch more and the tip portion could be longer?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Makanasmom - Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you are disappointed with the model. The product is a motor-driven appliance, and as with other common household motor-driven appliances, some noise is normal. We stand behind the quality of our products and the warranties that come with them. This model carries a two-year warranty. If you have any issues, please let us know! You can email us directly at smreviews@waterpik.com. Or call customer service at 1-800-525-2774 for assistance.
I really like this model in comparison to the one you have to install batteries. It’s easy to charge and works well. Only thing is I have to fill the reservoir twice to get the job done.
The water pik would be excellent for small child but for an adult expecially with gum problems and been going to a periodontist for many years .

Hello Keith 105 - We're sorry to hear you're not happy having to refill the reservoir. The WP-450 is designed small as it is intended more for those who travel and for those with little counter space. Some users may find it necessary to fill the reservoir more than once. For those who find this to be a hassle, we recommend a counter top model.
It looks like I was supposed to get a USB charger with this Waterpik, but did not. It would be nice to be able to use the device while charging, but that is not a feature.
