Have used the counter model for 5 years. Did not know this portable model was even available. Had to use string floss when traveling. What a pain in the gums. This is one of the BEST pieces of travel equipment.

It's effective, but very messy. I have to drape a towel over my head and then hang my head over the sink to avoid splashing water all over the mirrors and the countertop. Nevertheless, it beats flossing.
