This would be great for traveling. I find I like the one we're the water is separate is a lot better and does a better job. I found this one to do a good job as well except for one area on my teeth where floss did a better job. Also note if you drop or knock it on the floor the interchangeable tips break easily as my husband accidentally knocked it on the floor and it broke so now we only have to one tip.
