I thought it wasn't really necessary to have a Waterpik, until it was a suggestion from my dentist. It eliminates debris in areas you can't get to with dental floss.

I bought this water pick for my daughter who has a pallet expander, and it works great! What I love most about it is we can take it everywhere! Yes it is about a foot long, but I have a big purse! She can use it at restaurants, other people's houses, and it's great to pack up and bring on vacation! I love that my 10 year old can use it on her own too!
