I have a home unit that I love and need even more, while in orthodontics. I was going on a 2 week vacation and knew I couldn't go that long without my waterpik! So I picked up the travel unit...easier to haul in my suitcase. It did an ok job, certainly not like my home unit, but it did an ok job fir me while gone. Would not recommend for permanent usage, but on trips, it's good!
I am enjoying my waterpik. It takes a little getting use to the on and off buttons, and not spraying the bathroom sink with water. But all in all, I like it - feels like I just went to the dentist for a cleaning when I am finished.
I bought this product as part of an attempt to improve my overall oral health/hygiene. I avoided string floss because it would split between my teeth, not always get the food out, and hurt my gums. My Waterpik does the job and more with less the hassle, less time, and at a much higher quality. Other than the limited water capacity of this particular model, it’s great. I’d recommend it for regular use, for part of travel, and for new waterpik users as an opportunity to test the product before moving on to the larger versions, though I don’t think they’ll need much convincing!!
My mouth started to emit a rotton smell. I went to the dentist. I was told I needed a water pik because I likely had a popcorn kernel lodged in area where I had two implants. I immediately purchased a water pik. I went home, put it together, then used it to dislodge the kernel. Sure enough there it was and the fetted smell ceased to exist. Hallaluja! Very happy with my pik!
