My dental hygienist recommended this to me. I asked about the WaterPik, since I really have a hard time flossing. She said she thought they were great, but since I travel frequently, she said this hand-held model would be better for me. It’s easy to pack in a carry on bag, and you don’t have to worry about the big tank. I really like it, and I’ve been using it twice a day! It holds just enough water to clean my teeth, and the charge lasts about a week. Highly recommended if you hate to floss but want clean teeth and healthy gums.
I bought this a month ago and for the most part I am happy with how it makes my teeth and gums feel. I can already tell that oral health issues I have are improving. My only complaint is that no matter how hard I try, the water sprays all over my counter top, mirror, etc. when using and I have a mess to clean up afterwards.
In the month I've used this unit, on the recommendation of my dentist, I've used it two or three times each day after brushing. It's convenient, feels good, seems to do a thorough job and holds a charge for several days (maybe longer). I fill the reservoir once to clean my upper teeth from the inside and outside and fill the unit again to clean the lower teeth. It takes just a couple of minutes.
