Poor battery life

We got this about a year ago but only have used it the last month. The battery has stopped charging, poor example of the their quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize for the difficulty encountered with the product. The unit does have a battery in it and is designed to be used and charged on a regular basis. Please call 1-800-525-2774 Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm Mountain time for warranty assistance.

I should have researched this better. I bought the rechargeable one but have read in many reviews that the battery cannot be replaced and it lasts about a year at most. Which means you have to dispose of the whole unit and buy a new one. I regret I didn't buy the one with actual batteries that can be changed. Also, I have low faucets in the bathroom and have a hard time filling up the reservoir because this doesn't fit under the faucet. It works well, though. Good force.
