My friend suggested it and it worked. My gum was inflamed and painful once I used the water pick out came a piece of popcorn shell. Within a day the swelling went down and the pain was totally gone.

Good to have a waterpik which is affordable. I don't like the dark blue color. Hard to see how much water left in the water container. It is too tall. It seems Easy to fall and break.

I bought this about a month ago and found that I liked the stronger tip better as it has more force. I will see my dentist in 2 wks and will see if he sees a difference
