I am having trouble recharging the Water Pic to full power. It did after the initial charging but won't anymore. All I get are dribbles of water. This is my second Water Pic and probably won't get another one if I can't solve this problem

I bought this today and can already tell the difference between flossing with floss and the water flosser. I can't believe I wasted all this time trying to floss with braces. So many hours wasted before this. Only takes a few minutes!
I have had a regular waterpik for years, probably over 20 years, various models, and found them to be the best way of maintaining my teeth, loved them. This time I chose to purchase a portable model, and it just doesn't do the job, there is very little power, and have to keep filling the water container, at least 3 times to complete my tooth and gum cleaning routine. There just wasn't enough information on the box to let me know how different this model is from the regular waterpik. I now have to get together enough money to replace this model that I chose.. really disappointed.
I bought this instead of the countertop version for portability and to use in the shower. Sadly I wasn't able to locate a reliable version that attaches to my shower head. This definitely fits the bill. I don't agree with other reviewers who say it doesn't hold enough liquid. I've had no problems in that regard, but I also floss in addition to the waterpik. I do wish it had a better way to view the water level when filling, but other than that it's pretty solid. I even dropped it on my tile floor on the first day, and other than the tip that had to be replaced, it still runs like a champ.
After learning to keep my lips lightly closed over the pick and bend over the sink, I mastered the technicque of aiming it at the gumline without spattering water all over. I don't use it every time I brush and floss, but I do use it at least once a day and it makes my teeth feel cleaner. I haven't tried the bigger ones with the separate resevoir, but this one has the advantage of taking up less room on the sink and that it could travel. The other type might be easier to handle, not having the water residing in the wand. Sometimes I have to refill this. Although there is no charging light, I just assume it is charging and let it charge overnight about once a week. So far it hasn't run down.
I bought two of these for my family and returned one and would like to return the used one also. First, the water reservoir is very small and it is inconvenient having to refill it 4 - 5 times during use. Second, the water flow is not as strong as I prefer. My family is extremely dental hygiene conscious and visit the dentist twice a year as I suppose most consumers of this product are, so they will definately agree with me on this. Additionally, working the whole module around my teeth over the sink is clumsy and messy.
In conclusion, this Waterpik is generally is a waste of money. I would stick with the original Waterpik countertop model even though it is not portable. The portable aspect is not a great enough benefit of this product to overlook the flaws I have mentioned.

Very frustrating experience. Charged unit after following directions found on line to do so after making sure off button was pressed. Unit came with no instructions. Unit has no indicator light to ensure it is charging, but after required 24 hours unit was powered. Unfortunately, following tips found on several online sites to prime water flow unit NEVER had water flow. Did have power but even after filling and refilling half, 3/4, etc. along with attempting to siphon flow with old school sucking up through various tips, never worked. Days of tension and not worth the money to risk covid exposure by waiting in long return lines store I purchased from is known for.
I bought this Water Pik less than a month ago, and it has stopped working. I've tried recharging it over night several times , ensuring the power is switched to off, and even moved it to different outlets in my house to be sure there wasn't a problem on that end. But every time, it peters out after a few seconds. I'm taking it back to the store.

We are so sorry for the difficulty that you are experiencing. It sounds like you just have a clogged Jet Tip. Please try a new Jet Tip, or you can soak the current Jet Tip in distilled white vinegar for 10-15 minutes. If this does not fix the issue, please let us know. We are here to help!
