The water pik does a goood job, but I don't like the way you have to take it apart to clean it. I have to pry the two plastic parts apart and I feel like I'm going to break the lid when doing so. Will this loosen up over time? Also, the dark blue color of the water reservoir is so dark you can't see how much water is in there when fiiling. I'm sure I'll get use to it as I have only had my water pik for a month.

We are sorry to hear that you are having difficulty removing the reservoir. Below is a link to a video showing how to remove the reservoir. If this is how you are removing the reservoir, it should not break. It will likely get easier over time, just make sure you are following the cleaning instructions to avoid build up. If you need further assistance, please contact us. You can email me directly at smreviews@waterpik.com. My dental hygienist suggested I try a water pik, because it would benefit my gums. I bought a simple unit and it works great. My mouth feels extra clean when I use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Although it does a good job it "breaks" every 2 months without fail. I'm on my 4th one now. Dentist just told me today that he hears that alot. WAKE-UP Water Pic & fix this. Going to different manufacturer & try theirs next one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
