I've owned many waterpic's, this same model. They would work good for about a year. Some longer. The one I got in Dec., still works good, the one I bought last month (for travel), worked for a week, and then quit. I returned it and am going to look for another kind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

battery compartment melting

This is my second unit, and a same problem. After few months it stopped working and I noticed partially melted plastic body covering battery compartment. Possible fire hazard from overheated batteries!

First time having anything like this. My dentist recommend it. Easy to use and does a wonderful job. My hands are deformed due to the Rheumatoid Arthritis so string flossing is a very hard task for me to do properly. This floss system is light weight, easy to operate and I am able to grasp it. The cost was reasonable also.

Disappointed in quality of product

I just retired a Waterpik that I used for 7 years. The quality of the product for this 360W is not near as good as my previous one. I bought it because I liked the reservoir opening at the top. The opening is very small. I would shop differently if I'd realized these differences. I would not recommend the 360W
