Hello Chance - If you have not flossed regularly in the past, it may take some time for your gums to get used to it. We recommend that you start on the lowest pressure setting that is most comfortable for you. You can adjust the pressure gradually as your gums become stronger. However, if pain and bleeding are severe or if they persist, we recommend speaking with your dental provider.
