I needed a rechargeable as I don't have a vanity for a stand alone unit. It works well although it doesn't hold much water. It would be better if it would use all the water in the container before it stops pushing the water out through the nozzle.

I had much greater expectations for the Waterpik! It’s difficult to use and feels like a whole ordeal each time - not what I want to do at night when I’m winding down and getting ready for bed! The cap to the water reservoir is very difficult to open & the water gets emptied way too quickly, I have to refill it mid flossing. It’s also just very large and wouldn’t travel well like it is advertised. I wouldn’t recommend! Wish I could return :/
