I bought this on recommendation ftom my dentist. The product does a very good job, but reminds me of the first cell phones, because of the size. Don't let the size deter you from the benefits of having clean teeth and healthy gums.

Using a Waterpik seems to be really good at cleaning the nooks and crannies that one's brush or flossing might miss. My dentist recommended this in addition to brushing and flossing. My routine now takes a little longer but I feel I am doing the necessary to maintain healthy gums prevent future problems. I bought the portable model because I travel a lot.
