I bought my pic at the suggestion from my hygienist and dentist since I have a couple bridges, etc. Wasn't really sure what to expect, but have been seriously surprised with how well this little machine works! I like that the lid also serves as storage for various pic cleaners. Easy filling and dumping on the 'lift up' tank. Seems to be built fairly solid, even though plastic formed. For first couple times of use, I left the setting at lowest, but when I increased by one the force was significantly improved and my mouth felt as though my referring hygienist had done the job. Good dollar value. Good performance. I'd say it's worth the dollar and experiment investment reason I purchased. No longer experiment.

I bought this as per my dentist and use it daily. I'm very happy with how well it really gets into the tight areas of the teeth. I use this before I brush so that I'm getting a good cleaning. This is a great product and I'm sold on it forever.

Remember to keep your mouth closed or there will be a huge wet mess.
One complaint though. The hose is a bit short. I've pulled it off & into the sink a couple times while using it.

With many fillings and crown, I used to floss once a day flicking particles on the bathroom mirror. Now, it's so quick and easy, I "floss" 3x a day - after breakfast, lunch and dinner - with the Water Pic. My teeth feel cleaner and, at last week's visit to my dentist, he commented on the lack of plaque and that my gums were healthy. Great product! It's much improved over the Water Pic my parents bought decades ago when I was a teen.

Anxious to see how my next dentist visit goes. One design issue I would change would be the cord, I would have it where it swivels at the start of the cord because it's not flexible, so when turning to get to your backside of teeth it would maneuver better. Overall pleased. I'm glad I bought this model over the rechargeable because of the water capacity.

I got thi about a month ago and have been using it daily. It works I guess as its suppose too but it's so loud! I wake up early and can't use it because I would wake my wife up! The lil rubber tip attachment isn't as strong as the warnings say. I mean I guess it gets the job done but the spray even on ten the highest setting sent that strong. Seems to me the older ones I had were quieter and more efficient.

There are way to many various heads to use and my basic use is to clean between teeth as dentist said that was needed. I read the instructions and have increased the water pressure and it works fine and seems to be better with higher water pressure. Of course if you are new to this increase it slowly with use as I can imagine you could damage gums is started at high pressure. My teeth feel almost as clean as when I leave the dentists office. I also reviewed prices before making a purchase and this was definitely the best price and the quality it performs made it even a better buy.
