I have a deep cleaning due to peridontal disease and was headed there again. My new dentist recommended a water pick. This is my second one (after a few years) and my kids each have one now too. I got a crown about a month ago and received a compliment on the health of my gums. Most people have bleeding during the placement and it makes it hard to place the crown. Mine was minimal and it made placing it easy. My gum health has improved dramatically just by replacing traditional flossing with a water pik. I recommend it to friends, family and coworkers regularly.
We decided to buy it after my daughter recommended it for ease of use and the multiple picks. We have been very happy with our purchase since we bought it last month. It is extremely effective and easy to use. I would recommend it to everyone.
This water pik has adjustable settings, multiple tips, and storage for tips. Easy to use but I suggest you read the instructions before the first use. My teenager did not and got water everywhere. Really seems to work as well as hand flossing
I bought this product upon the recommendation of my dentist. Have been using for about three weeks now. The first time I used the item it seemed a bit awkward, but it didn't take long till I felt comfortable with it. This machine is excellent for people who have crowns and bridges. It cleans where a tooth brush, dental floss and proxa brushes cannot reach. During my last dental visit, I needed to have a procedure called scaling. Believe me, it was no fun and also very expensive. If this product prevents having that done again, I'm more than happy to use it.
I bought this for my 8 year old to use. She had a palate expander put in, and will get braces next. It works great to flush out all the food that accumulates in it. She is able to fill and operate this on her own. Very easy to use and seems to be good quality.
For the first time in 56 years I had to have some dental work in my upper teeth, however I was not aware that along with dental work comes the difficulty keeping it clean and particle free. I was planning to return to the dentist to help me with the pain and discomfort from food particles in areas my toothbrush or floss would not work. I decided to try the WaterPik (purchased at Costco) first. And to my amazement and surprise the pain and discomfort was cleared up in a few days saving another trip to the dentist. Thank you for a GREAT product.
