While I have been satisfied with this product at a little over a month into using it, my experience with this class of products has been unsatisfactory. Highs for this unit are water reservoir capacity, water tube storage, the tip stays in the handle securely and effective water shutoff on the handle. It's WAY to soon to comment on long-term reliability. The only con I can report is that the unit is too noisy when in use, particularly if your spouse is sleeping.

My dentist recommended I purchase a waterpik. I have noticed my gums getting stronger as a result. Wish I would have purchased a long time ago. the only thing I would change is the water not streaming out until you push the button but overall I love it.
