I have used this for about a month and am quite happy with the results. I use a Sonic tooth brush that does a pretty good job on my teeth. However, after brushing, using the Waterpik flushes out small particles not cleaned out of my teeth by just brushing. Not sure yet about the periodontal affects until my next treatment, but I am always surprised how much is missed by just brushing. Also I don't see the same amount of particles being flushed out of my teeth by normal dental floss.
I also got a WP-300 packaged along with the WP-100. I don't recommend it for everyday usage - probably OK for temporary use while traveling, etc. I find the off/on switch on the hand held device to be most useful and the lack of it on the 300 making it more difficult to use. Also it lacks the fine adjustments of pressure on the 100.

I bought this product a month ago on the recommendation from my dentist. I had never used a waterpix and was not sure what to expect. I was surprised at the extra little food particles that the waterpix flushed out right after brushing. As I get older I think it is incredibly important to over all health to keep my teeth and gums healthy and this product will certainly help me with that goal.

My boyfriend and I have been using this product for a month because whenever we would floss we just shred the floss. This product is absolutely amazing. It makes you look at mouth health care a lot differently. I love using it on all the different settings and with the different tools. I just wish there was a more detailed instruction book about every utensil and what its benefits are. I would recommend this product to anybody that really leaves you with that clean feeling that you get after going to a dentist
