I have had gum surgery in the past so I am well aware of the need of healthy gums.
This purchase was for a replacement of another brand of pick that constantly gave me problems. While I have only had the Waterpic for a short time, I feel that the many features it has will be beneficial to good oral care.

I bought this about a month ago and was very excited about it when I first got it. I only have 2 issues and the first one is it's noisy, and the second one is the water runs out too quickly. By the time I'm done with the outside of my bottom row teeth, the water needs to be refilled. Other than these issues this water flosser is great.

HAVEN'T HAD THIS VERY LONG BUT I THINK IT IS WORTH THE MONEY. YOU HAVE TO GET USED TO IT, SO DON'T GIVE UP. ALSO, DON'T PUT THE PRESSURE UP VERY HIGH. IT HAS A SETTING OF ONE TO TEN.MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH USE IT AND DON'T PUT THE PRESSURE ABOVE FOUR. IT SHOULD HELP WITH THE AMOUNT OF CLEANING DONE AT THE DENTIST OFFICE AS THEY USE SOMETHING SIMILAR. DIDN'T LIKE TO FLOSS, BUT I DO MAKE SURE I USE THIS. ALSO LIKE THE IDEA THAT THE CONTAINER FOR THE WATER CAN BE CLEANED AND DRIED VERY EASILY SO NO MOLD CAN ACCUMULATE. THE TIPS ARE EASY TO CHANGE. OURS CAME WITH TWO NUMBER 1 TIPS. IT CAME WITH OTHER TIPS WE HAVEN'T TRIED YET. THE NUMBER ONE TIPS ARE ALL WE HAVE NEEDED TO KEEP OUR RECENT DENTAL CLEANING UP.

I bought this because my dentist said I needed to do a better job cleaning my gums that had a recurrent problem. I flossed everyday and I thought I was doing a good job but that didn't do the trick to help them heal. After about 2 weeks after using this product, I went back to the dentist and he couldn't believe the difference. It works great. Thanks
