The reason I bought this is originally I bought a cordless water pic and it stunk. After charging it only kept pressure for a few seconds. I wasted my money on the cordless. The electric powered one works great

I bought 2, one for my daughter and one for me. Waited until mine completely gave out and used this one. I don't know what's wrong, but the motor sounds like a Mack truck is riding beside me. I tried holding it off the counter, didn't matter. Hers works great.
