Using this product takes practice. The first week, I had difficulty knowing when to pause and spit. Sometimes, I would hit the walls and ceiling with water. It takes coordination to know how to use efficiently without making a mess. I still have to wrap a towel around my neck and chest to keep from "drowning" myself! I will continue to use it because my dentist said it's better than floss. (I just spent thousands on a bridge.)
I am extremely happy with the WP-100.I did have one problem with the rubber valve I the tank. I may have pushed the tank down to hard because it was leaking badly when I removed the tank. I pushed the valve down from the inside of the tank to seat it and that seems to have solved the problem.I will keep monitoring it. All in all, this Is a great model and I highly recommend it to anyone.
I bought this to replace a Waterpik that I had for many years. I like the cover for this one as it has storage of additional tips and keeps the tank clean while the wand is still ready for use all the time. The tank is smaller than the former machine, and I wish it was a little larger. Otherwise it is all good!
I bought this item about three weeks ago and so far it works great. I was having problems cleaning my back teeth even with regular brushing and flossing and also beginning to develop pockets with bleeding gums in my upper back teeth. This item, in conjunction with the regular flossing and brushing has stopped the bleeding already. I usually add about 1/2 cap full of tarter control mouthwash to the recommended warm water temperature per the instructions. It leaves your mouth, teeth and gums feeling as clean as if you just left the dentist office. I use it twice a day and so far I really like it
