I bought this about 2 months ago. I have implants and open areas, and with the many tips i can choose from. It works great, i spray my self alot, i forget to close my mouth, but i love it.
I bought my first Waterpik in 2016 when I had a bridge put in my mouth and could not properly floss under the bridge. The unit I bought was battery powered, but I had trouble keeping a charge on the battery because I used it so much. Therefore, about a month ago I bought a WP100, which runs directly off of my electrical outlet. Although the battery-powered unit is a little handier, I love the power and versatility of the WP100. I would definitely recommend this unit, especially to someone who is going to use it three or four times a day.
Have to turn this unit up to about 8 to get the same power that my old unit had at 4 Sometimes I have to put the switch on and off for the pump to start working even though I primed it
This product's greatest strength is the strong stream of water that it delivers. This products greatest weakness is the strong stream of water that it delivers. I have yet to use WaterPik-100 without soaking myself. a nearby wall, or the bathroom mirror. I find it difficult to manipulate manually. I may well be a special case. I suffer from a certain amount of neuropathy in my hands as a result of a spinal cord injury. My wife bought the product for herself and for me on the advice of our dental hygienist. She is a fine hygienist and well-meaning but perhaps could use a bit more imagination when it comes to neuropathic users. I find the on-off switch on the pick itself difficult to control, especially when I have to shift position of the pick while I'm using it. In any event, the long and short of it is that when I use this WaterPik I always make sure that I am bare chested.
I am extremely happy with my product. My oral hygiene has improved reducing gum pocket depth every time I go for my cleaning. I highly recommend this product. This recent purchase was to replace my last one which I used for 5 plus years. Just felt needed to renew for sanitary reasons not because of malfunction.
