I've had 3 previous waterpiks but they didn't last more than 2 or 3 years each and although I felt it benefited me to have it I didn't want another one. That is until I saw this model. No batteries to charge or keep plugged in. I can use it and store it back under the counter with ease.i use this because it really does help with plaque, so my dental hygienist says when she compliments my teeth.
Love the Water Pic, teeth and mouth feel so much cleaner. You know there are no hidden food particles left around the teeth after you use it as there can be with just brushing.
My husband has been using the WaterPik for at least 30 years and it has been a marvelous addition to his dental cleaning. I bought one last month and am having "fun" getting the knack of not squirting water all over. It seems to be working very well for me.
I'm very pleased with my water pick. Having never had one before, I was surprised at how much cleaner my teeth were when using it immediately after brushing.
This thing works well but the tank lid tends to stick making it difficult to remove and for a right-hander with the electrical outlet to the right, turning it on and off is kind of tricky. Does the job but awkward.
Had been using the cordless rechargeable versions and after having gone through two of them not staying charged for more than a month or so, I went back to the countertop and couldn't be happier. I had forgotten how much the adjustable pressure and enough capacity to do a complete run around all my teeth was. I'll be staying with this.
