I've been using this for about a year now, I had gum recess from harsh brushing but would get gingivitis as soon as I tryed to be softer with my gums. This product solved the problem, I now have healthy gums.
Meanwhile I have a complain about the design; the base of the machine is very light, the water tank which is heavy goes to the top, and the cable that links the (bottom) machine to the hand tool is shaped as a spring, see where I'm going? The cable wich is kind of short tends to pull the light bottom part of the machine when I'm using it, causing it to fall and spill everywhere. This is seriously anoying, I would recommend the product but seriously wish you could correct the design by making the cable softer/straight or adding more weight to the bottom part.
This is my second Waterpik which I originally bought for my son who had issues with flossing due to TBI. I now swear by the Waterpik for ease of use and the job it has done in giving me healthier gums and teeth. My dental hygienist and dentist both have commented on checkups on the improvement in my dental health. My teeth are very close together so when flossing the floss used to get caught at times in my teeth. Those issues are over and I highly recommend using a Waterpik...it's quick and easy.
I have been using the Waterpik Wp-100 for several weeks now and I love the clean! It works beautifully and is helping me on my way to very healthy gums. I only wish it were quieter! It is pretty loud. Still, this is the best way to get a great clean and healthy gums.
