A Must for Braces

I purchased this because I was getting my (adult) braces put on, and I heard such good things about Waterpiks and braces that I couldn't say no. I was a little unsure about spending more for the bigger water tank at first, but I ultimately opted for this Ultra version that holds more quite a bit more water than the lower models. Definitely go for the Ultra because it's just the right amount of time to clean your whole mouth without refilling.
I can't say enough great things about this! I use it every single night, after I brush my teeth before bed. It's quick and easy, and keeping it clean isn't hard. I clean it weekly by running some hot water with tea tree oil and soap through, then running through another batch of plain water (which keeps any mildewy smells away due to the little bit of water that stays in the cord).
This sounds dramatic, but there is literally no way that I could imagine having these braces on and not having a Waterpik in my life. My orthodontist recommends flossing nightly with braces (which takes about 20 minutes total to thread each tooth), but with the use of the Waterpik daily I only have to manually floss once or maybe twice a week, and there's hardly anything to be found because the Waterpik does such a great job. You better believe it'll be coming with me if we do any traveling while I have my braces on. If you're on the fence in any way about this purchase, don't hesitate. Just buy it!

I recently bought the combo Waterpik and after few uses it started to leak. Very disappointed. Earlier model were more robust than the new ones

If you as I hate flossing, Waterpik is the answer! And my dental hygienist tells me at every cleaning, that it shows I’m using Waterpik. I only have one issue with the new model. It doesn’t have the tongue cleaner attachment any more, and the one I had with my older model doesn’t fit the new one. But I really like that the new model has a pause button, missing on the old one. I love it!
