I had purchased the Waterpik WP-100 before but after 6 or 7 years it just recently died on me and of course I had to have another one. Purchased the WP-100 and on my last dental cleaning 8/31/17 the dentist remarked how clean my teeth are between each one. He highly recommended I keep using the Waterpik! and I will.

After a visit to the dentist and hygienist, I was told I neded to really pressure wash near the gum line to avoid having to go to a periodontist to keep my gums in good health. Gums feel wonderful after using the waterpik after each meal. So far, so good. Time will tell when I have my follow-up app't after 4 months of use.

I bought a new Water-Pike recently and it's performance is not as good as the old one I bought 3 years ago. It can't take away some of the food particles stuck in between my teeth. Don't know what's going on with the new one. I sometimes have to do it twice and still not taking the food particles out. My old one did a lot better than that. I'm waiting for the parts to come so that I can repair the old one and use that one instead of newly bought one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
