When I bought my pic there was a soft bristled brush attachment that I'd never seen before on the past machines. I decided to use it after a good sonic 2 minute brushing. There was food stuck between my teeth that the pic brush cleaned out. What a great machine.

Bought because I had to get braces. Been using for about a month.
WaterPik makes all the difference with braces... I can't believe how much food gets caught up in braces. A quick water flossing before brushing flushes out the worst of it. Water flossing after brushing dies a fantastic job rinsing and eliminating anything missed. I don't see how I could manage without it.
A couple minor things. (1) Empty reservoir after use to avoid leaking around the handle. (2) Practice rotating tip during use. If touched just so, can pop up causing water to stream out around base of top.
Overall, seems to be a good and effective unit.
