Dentist recommended that I get one. I've been using it every night and I've noticed that my teeth and gums feel so refreshing -- almost like a massage for my gums. Never used a water pik of any kind. Forgot to mention, I have 8 implants and so this has been helping along with flossing and brushing. Can't until my next checkup.
