I never liked flossing and therefore avoided it. In fact, rarely did it. The result over the years was periodontal issues including bleeding gums. I bought my waterpik over a year ago and just tried it and began using regularly. I'm absolutely amazed how quickly my bleeding gums healed. I enjoy using it and am now a faithful daily flosser. My dentist will finally be happy with me. Great tool.

The Waterpik is difficult to use: awkward and makes a mess with the water. Takes a lot of getting used to. Wish I had bought the smaller style.
