I got braces and this has helped sooo much. My dentist said to continue to stimulate the gums which I do with dental picks and then I use the Waterpik. It gets so many things that get stuck in the braces. Do not look at the mirror when using this as you will splash around. Instead look down and guide the spout around the teeth and let the water flow to the sink. Great product!
I am on my third one. I have given one to each of my adult children. This Waterpik cured my gingivitis and is more comfortable and effective than flossing. I still floss once or twice a week, per my dentist's instructions, in addition to using this daily. I wish I had starting using this many years ago! I would caution you, though, if you have a temporary crown, don't go anywhere near it with the waterpik (unless it's on the lowest number). I found out the hard way. Don't do what I did. (If you do pop it out, you can probably get it back in yourself. I did not know that.)
