Not as good as in the 1970s

Grew up using a water pick in the 1970s .Just tried new waterpik ultra 100 and it is more quiet than 1970s model, but not as good of a product. Messy, hard to keep water from dripping back down hand, no stand spot on outside for tips as old days so tip is wet when out back into top tip holding compartment. Pump started and stopped rather than continuous flow which makes me think that might be a continuous problem and maybe it is defective. Disappointed it was not better than it was nearly 50 years ago!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Jlars - We appreciate your longtime support and are sorry that you are not completely satisfied with the WP-100. There is definitely a trick to it. We have found the best advice we can give is to place the flosser in your mouth before turning it on, then make sure you look down into your sink as you go; keep your mouth slightly open so water can drain into the sink. Here's a link to our how-to video:https://youtu.be/6lWWbOqMhdQ. The model comes with a three-year warranty. Should you have any questions, please call 1-800-525-2774 or send an email to smreviews@waterpik.com.
Water reservoir leaks when removing to refill. Cover opens up too easily and accessories fall onto counter. Do you really need instant access to 5-6 different tips every time you use it? The old ones didn't even have a cover on top. Why would you need a cover? I want fresh water and fresh mouthwash every time I use it. The old ones did not leak either.

Hello Dane1258904 - We are sorry you are not completely satisfied with the model and that it's leaking. Please ensure the reservoir is emptied after each use as it is not intended to hold water between uses. If this is not what you are experiencing, we'd love to get some additional information and see if we can help. Please contact us at 1-800-525-2774 or send an email to smreviews@waterpik.com. Thank you.
