We had one that was about 10 years old, but the hose got a hole in it. We purchased this new one and it does not have the water pressure that our old one had. I am disappointed with the new one
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used to have this same model and it worked great for a long time. Got a new one and the water container leaks water all over from the bottom of the container where it connects to the flosser. And since they don't sell the water container separately, I have to toss the whole thing

My orthodontist had mentioned to use a water pik during the application of my new braces. I did purchase a small battery operated travel size to take to work. Much to my surprise the pressure was scary and I didn't try it on my teeth, only my hand. Fearful of water flossing, I did google search for adjustable water piks and much to my surprise, I found this one. I started with using pressure #3 and has gradually increased the pressure. I just love it and use it daily and wished I had used one all my life!! I am so happy with my new water pik and have purchased extra accessories for braces. Thank you for my healthy smile!!
I bought the Waterpik WP-100 for gingivitis and early periodontal disease - my gum pockets were about 4mm in July. I went back to the dentist near the end of November and after a few months of using the Waterpik Jet tip (2x/day) and the PikPocket tip (1x/day), my gum pockets went down to 3mm - even 2mm in some places! I add H2O2 to the water once a week when I use the PikPocket tip, and I add mouthwash once a week when I use the Jet tip.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone interested in improving their oral health or anyone who finds it difficult to floss everyday. The Waterpik is a lot more easy to use than floss, once you get the hang of it. I will continue using my Waterpik daily and flossing occasionally!
Having been using for about 30 days. Very impressed with how clean my teeth, gums and mouth feels. So much better than just brushing and flossing. Especially works well around my bridge and crowns. Would give 5 stars if the little hose was more flexible and maybe a little longer - plus need to figure out a better way to store that hose, always hard to put away. I like all the choices of attachments and different levels of water pressure. You can really customize the unit for yourself. Have encouraged others to buy a unit for themselves and see how good their mouth and gums feel. Very happy with purchase :-)
This waterpik is great. I brush my teeth first, then use the waterpik and it gets my teeth really clean. The machine is not loud but it isn't quiet either. I'm still learning how the other tips work, but as for the main tip its fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone. I love that you can adjust the pressure. Just a word of advise, if you do purchase this product; make sure you use room temperature water in the water basin. I used cold water my first go and it hurt my teeth. It may not bother you either way but my teeth are sensitive and I just wanted to warn you.
I have been using for nearly a month. I bought this as I had braces a second time as adult, recently got tops off with a permanent bonded retainer. I figured getting a Waterpik could only help. It takes up small space on counter, very light weight, large selection of brush heads and quieter then I might have expected. Sure if you turn up the pressure, there's slightly more noise as motor is working harder, but I don't find it any more bothersome than my Sonicare toothbrush. I have found that even after heavy flossing, using the Waterpik gets more debris out of gums. I have no complaints about this product & already recommended to friends & family.
