I purchased this item becaused my periodontist suggested I do. I do have a problem with the on/off button on the wand. It continues to stick when I am using it. I have to tap it a number of times to get it to work.

Over the past 2 decades I've used WaterPik for daily cleaning of my teeth. I LOVE WaterPik. This model includes several enhancements but, I don't really used them. Nice to have however. I rated this particular device 3 stars because this unit is:
1. LOUD - the motor is so loud unlike all of my previous units.
2. PRESSURE - I have to dial the water pressure all the way to the highest number to get the same pressure from lesser numbers with previous units.
Does the unit preform....yes, it does the job, just not with the same efficiency as older models.
I will always buy WaterPik. But, I hope the two areas I'm named improves.

We are sorry that you are not completely satisfied with the product. Waterpik has recently elected to make a change to our Water Flosser to be more compliant with energy efficiency. The new high efficiency motor is lighter, and may subsequently produce a louder motor sound when operating. However, the changes do not affect the pressure.
