We had one of these years ago (in the early 1990s for my daughter who had braces). It was a godsend for her and made a difficult process so much more manageable for a young teen. I just purchased one for myself at the recommendation of my new dental assistant. I am in my late 50s and find using traditional floss difficult to use due to Arthritis in my hands. I've been skipping the floss process due to that reason. Plus, I have certain dental work that makes it even more of a challenge. Since purchasing this machine, it has been amazing. So easy to use and so thorough a cleaning also. Don't know why it took me so long to realize that these are not just for people with braces. I no longer have to fight with floss around that difficult dental work!!
This is replacement for an older model Waterpik. Lots of improvements, quieter, hose more easily handled, wand storage built in, easier to fill. I like it a lot.
At a recent dental check up, I asked what they would recommend to clean better - “Waterpik”!!! It was my best purchase ever! So easy, comfortable & non abrasive. What a great cleaning tool!
Two weeks into owning, the button to stop water supply sticks down!
