Affordable and works great for cleaning braces!

I bought this for my daughter as she just had braces put on and was recommended by her orthodontist to get a Waterpik. I had looked all around at various models and types and I finally found a great deal on one with the attachments she needed to clean her braces. My only downfalls with this Waterpik is that is feels flimsy and very fragile. I had a Waterpik in the 90's and it was made a lot more sturdy and lasted a very long time. I am just glad to have found one in our price range that works and simplifies teeth cleaning for my daughter. She loves it and I'm happy that we are able to help her again cut time off of cleaning her braces after every meal. The Waterpik was easy enough for her to figure out the right water pressure settings to use. I tried out the flossing tips and found they worked very nicely as well. It just takes a bit of getting used to the stop button on the Waterpik handle to stop the flow of the water as it drips a little water even when holding the button down. I also recommend using the Waterpik away from mirrors and before you get dressed in something nice, it can get pretty messy real quick while you are getting used to controlling the wand and water pressure. Overall this Waterpik has been a great deal for what we needed it for.

I absolutely love this product. I hate flossing mostly because it hurts and I don’t ever feel like I’m getting the job done. But I can actually see this thing working as I use it. It’s a little messy at first but you get the hang of it pretty quick.

Works great - pause button broke after ~1.5 years.

I bought the WP-100 ~1.5 years ago - it was my first water flosser but I had heard and read great things about them.
Machine works great, has the whole slew of different heads (I really only used the standard one), has good water capacity and is pretty easy to use. It really improved my gum and dental health to the point my dentist and hygienist complemented me and told me they recommend water flossers to their clients who don't already use them.
Only bad is the unit is already junk after 1.5 years. Today the pause button became stuck in rendering the unit useless, tried prying it out with no luck. It did not stick under the plastic handle, something internal to the switch must have broken. Cannot locate my original purchase receipt so I am out of luck with the warranty.
Going to purchase another but find one that has a sliding on/off switch after this push button one broke so quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I been using the WP-100 for about two months and like the feel and the job it does. It gets the extra food particles between the teeth and makes your teeth feel good all over. There is plenty water in the tank for a full teeth flossing. I like the extra water tips that comes with it and the 1-10 water pressure dial.
