Great appliance & alternative to normal flossing

It is so much easier than using floss when you have teeth that are very close together. I hate to floss, but using this Waterpik WP-100 is a great alternative to flossing with string & my dental hygienist asked me to get a Waterpik so I would floss more often.

disappointed in this product-found mold in lining

I originally bought this product to improve my teeth and was very happy with the performance in terms of flossing. However, I was very disturbed to find that there was mold all throughout the clear pik and in the lining after only using it for one month. I am concerned this might be a product defect, and I am afraid it will affect my health if I continue to use it. I'm very disappointed in the waterpik not having more quality control over this molding issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Running distilled white vinegar and warm water through the unit and handle regularly, as recommended, will prevent the issue by breaking down any buildup that may be accumulating. Here is a link to our cleaning blog that has detailed cleaning instructions.
