I am a SCL honors college graduate with a degree in nursing and have been unable to get this thing down pat. I think it would help if you could see what you are doing instead of having to do it with your mouth closed.
I purchased a new one two weeks ago to replace one that I had been using for five years. It had developed a crack or something that made water squirt out the top where it joins. I love this. So much better than flossing, and it feels really clean in my mouth when I finish.
I find it to be cumbersome. You offered $100 in gift bonus, for attachments (so many of these and so many of those) I only us one but can't buy 10 or 12 of just that one the. The curly cord is too short.
I'm happy with my water pick but the water is a little out of control
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your feedback. There is an instructional video and illustrated directions on our website that can be helpful. https://www.waterpik.com/oral-health/how-to-floss/
I bought this because I really hate the string floss. I gave it 4 start only because the cord on the handheld bit is too short for me and while using it I pulled and tipped the unit over spilling water all over the counter. If you are tall or have a lower than normal counter like me I would suggest holding the top of the unit while using it. Small inconvenience for me that does not out way the good of this product.
At the suggestion of my dentist, I purchased my Waterpik less than a month ago, and I am already seeing results! I was amazed at all the particles that my Waterpik removed after I had brushed my teeth. In addition to having a real clean, my teeth are whiter as well. The Waterpik has helped with coffee stains on my front teeth. Do yourself and your mouth a favor-----get a Waterpik now. Oral health is critical to our overall health and as person with Parkinson's Disease, I can't tell you how important it is to be as proactive in all areas of health. This is a great product!
