The pump is a bit noisy. Where the electrical cord goes into the body it keeps the body away from the wall using up space on the toilet tank where I placed it . I keep other things on there and I need all the space that I can get. When you detach the water tank it takes two hands because the body is too smooth, maybe a small rounded lip around the body for added leverage to aid separation.

This really does make our teeth feel cleaner and it's easier to do than flossing. It's noisier than I expected, and not making a mess while using it took a little learning, but it's been a good purchase for us.

My old waterpik broke it's hose. Got this replacement and was thrilled that it had a shut off switch on the handle. This makes it so much easier to turn on and then open up when the pik is near your teeth. It is still amazing with the stuff that comes out after brushing.

My daughter surprised me with this waterpik for Christmas. I thought about getting one myself for years but never pushed the button. I so regret that decision. This machine is amazing. I have very nice, white teeth for a 64-year-old woman, but the dental technician spends a lot of time removing coffee stains. The stains returned two months after my cleaning, but to my amazement in just using the waterpik twice a day for the first couple of days returned my teeth to “just out of the dentist” clean. I am completely sold on it!
