Unit cuts out sometimes until I decrease the pressure. Sometimes the sprayer won’t go and I have to tap on the top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

MUCH BETTER THAN HAND HELD MODELS . I HAD HAND HELD MODEL FIRST BUT WAS UNHAPPY WITH POWER OF INJECTION OF WATER FLOW. I RETURNED TO STORE AND UPGRADED TO WATERPIK ULTRA. IT CAME WITH MANY TIPS. THIS MODEL HAS SPACE TO STORE TIPS IN COVER OF WATER RESERVOIR. I HAVE ONLY USED THE CLASSIC JET TIP BUT PLAN TO TRY SOME OF THE OTHER TIPS.
I have had it for almost two months and have not figured out how to use it to do the back of the teeth. The water runs out before I am half way through. I wish they included some instructions on how to use it properly. It quit working once for no reason. I can't get past the number 2 setting because of the noise, sound like is going out.
Can't get use to it yet - but working on it! Even on low the water seems to come out faster than I would like! Learning control is my issue! Rating is based on my experience, or lack thereof, not any problems with the unit.
