I didn't feel like troubleshooting the Waterpik I'd had for the last few years, so I was ready to purchase a new one. I was having difficulty deciding which model to purchase because each model had a few negative reviews. So, I thought I would google the model number of the one I had, and see if I could buy the same one –– and realized WP-100 was still available, and bought one. I have never used the lid, so I never had the difficulty people report about the tips falling out. Instead, I purchased a paper spindle (chrome or nickel) with a rubber tip at the top and wire base (not solid), and turn the reservoir upside down to air dry after each use. For me, the cover was just a small case for storing the tips in my cabinet. Part of the difficulty I had in deciding between the different models was that it's not made clear in the product description that the cover is completely removable and it's use is optional –– which is the case for Model WP-100, but I couldn't be certain for many of the other models.
I am so happy I was able to get past all the uncertainty, and just buy the same model. It works perfectly,

The water leaks from the bottom of the reservoir were the hose is. Hose is damage.

Hello - We are so sorry about this! There are a few reasons this could be happening. The reservoir is not designed to store water between uses, so make sure that you empty it after each flossing. Or you could just need a new reservoir valve. The unit does carry a three-year warranty. We would be happy to look into this further for you. I really feel like my teeth are cleaner than ever! I have had all manner of dental procedures, including implants and my mother had a Water Pik. Even with that history, it was never even recommended to me that I purchase a Water Pik. With the Water Pik I pray that the benefits will be great and that my future dental visits will be for only six month cleanings!
It works well and is easy to use. I am not sure though how long it will work. It is rather a cheap model.

Works better than my rechargable waterpik.

This is my second waterpik. I bought it at a local retailer. My first waterpik was the rechargable model with just 2 speeds. My rechargable model died after about 2 years; the battery wouldn't recharge. This model has no rechargable battery. It does the job marvelously. It has more than 2 speeds, 1 to 10. I find that bout 2-3 works well for me so far. I still have to carry around floss for use away from home. This device eliminates my need to use floss at home.
