I'm a new Waterpik user. I like the unit, but I recently went out of town for 2 weeks and couldn't pack it. Then I had oral surgery and still can't use it for a few more days. So far my experience is good, but I haven't given up flossing. I may learn to love the Waterpik, but am not quite there yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ON OCCASION, WATER LEAKS OUT OF THE HEAD WHERE THE PIK CONNECTS INTO THE WAND. YOU HAVE TO EJECT IT & REINSERT THE PIK TO GET THE LEAK TO STOP
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm really happy with my purchase so far. This is the first time using this product and part of me wishes I had bought it sooner. Unfortunately for me, tarter and plaque buildup really quick in my mouth and I'm wondering if I should still be using floss in conjunction with this product. I've primarily use the periodontal and regular tip.
The only con is that sometimes when I go to snap in the tips, they don't always make the "click in" sounds to tell you that you are good to move forward. That is a little frustrating at times, but overall I'm happy with my purchase.
