This printer has paper jams all of the time. It will only use the 24 lb. paper and I have another HP printer and it uses the 20lb and never jams and I have had it for at least 5 years. Wouldn't recommend it to anybody and I have a friend that hasn't opened her yets and I said you had better think about it as it won't work on her 20lb paper and she has bunch of it as she has a lot of printing she has to do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

wireless setup issues

wireless setup was terrible. Have an older HP wireless printer that was easy setting up on my home network. this new hp for some reason was a nightmare. I spent so much time troubleshooting the myriad of error messages that I finally just gave up and hard wired it. I have not tried using the eprint yet. Hardware is very cheaply made and I would not suggest anyone purchase this printer except for occasional home use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

really like this printer. the only drawback is the noise but since it isn't printing all the time, that isn't really an issue. the noise isn't extremely loud, but I don't think it should make as much noise as it does. need to work on manufacturing a quieter model. this prints faster than my old printer and what colors I have printed look good

This is the first printer I have ever installed and was a little intimidated by some of the reviews. As it turned out, it was a breeze. Also love how fast it prints.

This printer IS a bit on the "noisy" side, as I read in aNother review prior to purchase, HowEver....it Does print good color,etc. The "inkers" do Not seem to last as long as my Previous printer...that I Really Liked!! and by the way...I AM a Hewlett Packard girl!! (nearly 70 yrs. young! and do NOT Like "change"...that's why I'm Not "thrilled" with this printer...It does what I need it to do...print cards for our church "shut-ins"..so that's ok.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using HP desktop products since they first came to market. I used on-line setup and was amazed at the ease of setup and integration into my system.. This is my first multi-function printer/scanner and I really like the space saving. There are so many new features, since my last printer, that improve functionality and make life so much simpler. Way to go HP.
