This is an extremely poor printer. The paper jams all of the time. It will not print from a number of web sites. I find it to be well below the usual performance level for an HP product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Actually, I preferred my older HP printer, than the DJ 3520, and found the older printer easier to learn to use, and actually had a little more features. For example one problem, is the printing of envelopes on the 3520 is more complicated. To be fair, I have only used the 3520 a couple weeks.I'm hoping that the more I use and get familiar with the 3520, I'll like it better and it becomes easier to use. Not happy that a detail "manual" was not provided with the packaging.

The plastic on the ink carttridges were very hard to remove. The video did not show what to do with the plastic container that was in the printer where the ink cartridges were installed. So I still don't know what that was for. It prints very well and clear.

I like the HP Deskjet 3520, it's different from my old HP all in one, but on the whole easy to use. The only problem I've had is using 4X6 photo paper, it has to go so far back inside, that if it doesn't pull though, it's hard to get out. But, saying that, it is still a product worth purchasing for everyday use.

Good printer for an inexpensive price.

I've only had this printer for four days. Thus, my experience is limited, but it seems to work efficiently, and I appreciated the ease of setting it to operate wirelessly with two computers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One step away from being equivalent to a cardboard digital camera {one time use} I am concerned that it will be short lived.

The subject printer was a gift to my granddaughter for college. So it will be installed when she gets to her dorm room. At that time I can give a full review.
