Standard rate for an amp install is $69.99 and $19.99 per sub. However I haven't worked on that car so there is the possible exception of added labor charges if your vehicle requires extra work beyond the standard scope of work. A lot of times that is determined by the installer themselves. Don't forget you'll need an amp kit also. Those usually start at about $70. And I would say you need a 4 gauge wire. I'm sure your amp is not a 2000w RMS amp so that should do fine. Oh, and remember we offer a lifetime warranty on our worksmanship at Geek Squad.

sub amp install is $70 + $5 for materials. If the subs need mounted/wired in an enclosure then it's $20 per sub. If you have a factory radio then there will be some labor to get the signal from it to your amp. You will also need a l.o.c. for that scenario. If you have an aftermarket radio then disregard that last statement. That should get you in the ballpark.

Yes, that would be a great job. For pricing and quote get ahold of your local install bay or better yet take that jalopy in there and have them do a consult with you.

Speakers are for your mid-range sound and the subwoofer is the low, bass sound. If you've ever heard a vehicle pounding down the road, chances are they've got a sub or more in the trunk. Hope this helps.

This is a tough one. Every car has its own complexities. I use to work at a store and car fi was one of my areas that I loved to work in. We generally asked our customers to allow a full day, 8 hours. Customers left vehicles in the morning (or night before) and picked up later in the day. I would recommend checking with the Installer as he/she can give you a better time frame.

yes you can, all you need is a line driver to hook up to a rear speaker, thus giving you rca's. then you find the accessory wire in the stock radio and attach the remote wire to that.

it's more complicated than that. your stock stereo may not have the necessary connectors to work with the amp and speaker box, if it does yes they can if it doesn't you'll need to buy a compatible deck.

I owned a 2000 ford mustang and did a stereo install in it.

1. 2000 Ford mustangs don't require dash kits, they are already DIN sized. You just need the wiring harness, it is sold separate from the dash kit.

2. They sell DIN sized pockets you can fill the second hole with from your existing CD player.
