You can do into the menu and select "Channel", then select "Auto Scan".

That will search for all the channels again. If you have a direct cable connect (no cable box) you may be seeing a problem with the actual unit. It creates duplicate channels so it looks like you have two ABC's, NBC's, etc.

Or there is a "reset" under "setup" in the menu if you want to nuke and start over.

Hope that helps...

Dynex was Best Buy's first exclusive brand, so it has been around for many years. As to reliability, my 32" Dynex LCD TV has been extremely reliable and without issue for over three years.

Hope this helps...

Question

will a ps3 work on my tv

I have a Dynex 32"/720P/60Hz/lcd hdtv and am trying to connect a ps3. with a hdmi cable I get a not supported format notice on screen. with the video/audio cable that came with the ps3 I get nothing on either video 1 or 2. I have tried both hdmi 1 and 2 and have tried my blue ray player (it worked) and my computer through the dvi cable (it also works). When I connect the ps3 to my sony tv it works through the hdmi cable. Is there a way to make the ps3 work on my tv?

Make sure the cable is at least a HDMI 1.3.
If not then try a 1.3 cable and see if you still have connection issues.

You need home mode. Make sure your game system is set properly for 720p resolution. With my XBOX360 I was able to put it on 1080, but since the TV technically doesn't support that resolution the images were very fuzzy. Also, if you're downgrading from 1080 to 720, your eyes will take a bit to adjust to the "fuzziness" but that will change.

I've noticed certain broadcasts will come through on 1080i, not 1080p. Not sure if there's a connection there.

Question

What is bolt size for connecting TV to base (stand)?

The three bolts were missing from package (don't mind buying them myself if I know length, diameter and threads per inch). I incorrectly submitted this question previously for the wrong model number. My model is DX-32L152A11. Thanks.

There doesn't seem to be an online manual for this exact set at www.dynexproducts.com but a similar model uses M5 bolts.

I'm not sure what type of cables you are using, but I would suggest HDMI to get the best sound and picture. That is how I have my PS3 hooked up (to another TV).

Question

Power indicator light on front of tv.

This Dynex 32" LCD HDTV tv is new. The power indicator light on the front of the tv stays on when the tv is off. When I turn the tv on the light goes off. Is that how it's designed? Why does the light stay on when the tv is off? Other tv indicator lights I've seen come on when you turn the tv on.

That light just indicates that the TV is in standby mode. It will use a little bit of electricity while in standby mode. For long periods of non use, you may want to unplug the set.
