Without knowing what Asus product you are talking about, I cannot address it.
I can say I would not anticipate an issue with most recent Asus notebook or netbook PCs. If you use a netbook without a CD/DVD drive, you need to download the appropriate drivers from the hp.com website.

A wireless mouse with a USB dongel will work fine.
This printer does not support printing from an iPhone.
To print from an iPad to an HP printer wirelessly will require an HP printer that supports e-Print. You can print via e-mail or with AirPrint technology from Apple.
AirPrint is a free software update with Apple's iOS 4.2, and will enable wireless printing of mail, photos, web pages and more from select apps.

Apple's AirPrint allows iPhone, iPad and iPod touch customers to print wirelessly to a local printer on their wireless network through an embedded OS print function. Both solutions remove the need for drivers or software downloads.

The HP Deskjet 3050 Wireless All-In-One Printer features 802.11n wireless and will be compatible with any wireless router that uses 802.11g or n wireless.

Wireless connectivity problem with HP 3000
I recently purchased the HP 3000, and not able to go wireless on either my pc or laptop.
I have Verizon Fios and router supports wireless. I added my laptop using router info and it works wireless fine, but the printer will not.
Any suggestions?
