You may want to consider it. The people putting it on are good because they do it all the time....just make sure you ask how many of them they did first. Also, if they mess it up while placing it on your device, they will get another one for free and attempt again. You have nothing to lose.

Question

Will best buy install a screen protector on my Cintiq 22HD? Also, if they mess up the installation, will they try again without additional cost?

My screen protector was one I purchased online, so I only have one of it and I want to make sure it gets installed properly! I hardly trust myself to do it, so I'd rather leave it to a professional. However, there's always a chance that they will mess it up too. So, if they DO mess up is it going to cost me anything?

If you bought the screen cover at Best Buy (online) they probably will. I have never had them install anything wrong, they do it a lot and are quite good at it. You can always call your store and ask them directly since they will be the ones doing it.

Yes, that's the great thing about getting BB to install it. If it's broken or damaged they'll just grab you another off the shelf and if there are too many bubbles after they install they'll remove it and do the install again.

Question

BEWARE! They don't install all screen protectors...any advice?

I recently bought a Microsoft Pro 3 from Best Buy and a PerfectFit Privacy Glass Screen Protector from a different vendor (it's only available on bestbuy.com...not in stores). Since they don't carry this particular screen protector in store, Geek Squad will not install because if they mess up, there's no way for them to replace it immediately. I asked the rep to speak with a manager and/or see if another store will do it. Rep said they won't...it seems like I HAVE to get an in-store protector (Zagg) in order for them to install...and Zagg doesn't have the privacy glass protector for the SP3. I definitely don't want to install the protector myself. Anybody else experience this? Are there any workarounds? Thanks!

I experienced a similar situation when I received a replacement Zagg shield for my Note 4. I took it to Verizonwireless for them to install. They were reluctant but did install after I informed them that another sales rep from their store had ordered it for me and stated she would install once I received it. I guess you just have to be persistent.

I only ask them to install items I buy at best buy. They have no way of replacing an item it if is damaged during installation. They are simply looking out for their liability, as well they should. I wouldn't buy a Big Mac, then take it to Burger King and ask them to add cheese.

Question

Apply screen protectors for other devices?

I own a Wii U and one of the things I can never apply properly is the screen protector for the gamepad. I have a pet at home and no matter how I apply or how many times I get a new one, there's always some lint or hair underneath. Is there anyone who will apply a screen protector for me if I bring in the gamepad and my own screen protector?

Question

Do you install screen protectors on Galaxy Tab S 10.5 inch tablets?

I just received a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 inch tablet as a gift and would like to have a screen protector installed and I would also like to buy a chip to add additional memory. Do I need an appointment to come in and have you install the screen protector? Will I have to leave it with you overnight? Thank you.

I believe they will if it is a new screen protector that they carry and has not been opened. If they do not carry it and they mess it up they can not re try that's why they wont do that.
