If you use the default Gmail account, it may be possible to share some apps and programs. This is ultimately up to the App owner (in this case, the book program), however, so it may or may not.

up to 64gb. You can put your folders, pics, music, apps, and games on the card by copying the file folder in your files app to your external sd card and then deleting the folder from the storage sd card. There is a you tube vid that describes the procedure.

64GB as stated in the Samsung Tab 3 User Manual. But the Tab 3 blocks apps from being installed on the SD memory. The SD memory can be used for documents, music, video, etc.

Question

I'm a professional writer and journalism student and will use this primarily for school and freelance writing and editing and research projects. What else do I need with my tab 3 to be up and running?

Gosh, to be honest, and with apologies, I'd suggest taking it back and getting a bigger tablet. If you're a professional writer and journalism student I think you'll be more satisfied with a bigger version.

That said I suggest purchasing a case to protect it, and not an InCase or just a cover, but something that really wraps around and cradles it.

As a professional writer you may benefit from an external Bluetooth keyboard. Something like a Logitech - K810 Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard, Model: 920-004292 / SKU: 6640612.

There's also a really great, free app, for Android called "AirDroid" which allows you to control your Android tablet over wifi from your desktop computer. This has been absolutely vital for us in moving photos, documents, both to and from the tablet.

Hope that helps!

Using a bluetooth keyboard like this one: http://bit.ly/16UrNC8 will make it much easier to type long structured papers, compared to the virtual keyboard on the tablet. If you'd like to go over the application list, you can find it here: http://bit.ly/1dPwQYD

Actually, this tablet is compatible Flash, but it is unable to be downloaded through the Play Store. You can, however, go to www.adobe.com and download it from there.
