Question

What still photo resolutions can you shoot in 16:9 aspect ratio?

I read the specs for the comparable F25, but my experience with other Lumix cameras says that they can shoot in other resoltuoins besides the maximum resolution, in 16:9.

Does anyone know for sure (not just reading the websites...)?

The camera offers 5 picture modes. Intelligent Auto, Normal Picture, My Scene, Scene, and Motion Picture mode. The My Scene mode is designed to input Scene modes that you had previously selected. You can change the My Scene modes by using the instructions on page 55 of your advanced manual.

The My Scene options are the same as the Scene mode options. The My Scene options are simply a quicker way to access the Scene Modes that you have used previously.

This would be a great camera for that application. The DMC-FH24 has an auto focus macro mode where you can get really close to the subject and take a great picture.

The zoom of the TV can be manipulated by using the Extended Optical Zoom and reducing the pixel count on the TV. That would allow you to change the zoom you are currently at.
