You can also remove the SD Card from the H70 and insert it into an SD card slot - most PC laptops and current MacBook Pros (13" and 15") and MacBook Air 13" have it built-in - and import the photos from the card via popular photo programs on a PC such as Picasa or iPhoto and Aperture on a Mac.

TransferJet™ technology, developed by Sony and advanced and promoted by a consortium of 18 other companies, allows transfer of up to ten files between two TransferJet™ enabled devices just by touching their TransferJet™ logos together, without the hassle of hunting for cables or the
complication of pairing.
The DSC-H70 does have a Multi Use Terminal that will allow USB connection. a Multi Connector Cable is supplied with the camera. HDMI connection is also supported.

I just went through the settings and there is a very accurate date and time setting, but it doesn't look like you can set it to date stamp your photos - at least in my investigation.

this camera does not superimpose the date and time on a photo, however, using the included Picture motion browser software you can add the date or time to any picture taken as the information is saved into the data embedded into the properties of the image.

I'd say it would depend on your type of HDTV If it's only 720P it should be fine. Honestly, if you're fussy about these kinds of things. though, you should get the WX9. Watch a broadcast sports game in HD. If you like what you see, those broadcasts are in 720P. Those are relatively nice details.

answer 2
The 1080p video is a full HD presentation and is fully supported by the newer line of TV units. It offers a crisper picture and a lot more detail especially when zooming is involved. If you are solely taking video clips for web posting 720 is fine, but for other applications you will want the 1080p capability.

The DSCH70 camera does not have a feature for superimposing dates on images. By using “PMB” in the CD-ROM (supplied), you can print or save images with the date.

It says it is compatible for Windows XP SP3 (sp3 means service pack 3 and if you have XP then it should be SP3 at this point - it's a normal update that your computer does on it's own.)
